Chess School
A non-profit organization that researches
the benefits of chess, teaches the art and science of chess
to its students (by providing them with expert instruction
), and organizes opportunities to hone their skills.
Georgia
Chess Association
A non-profit organization dedicated
to the promotion of chess in Georgia. The GCA sponsors USCF
rated chess events, as well as (K-12) leagues and tournaments.
The GCA also publishes the award-winning GCA Newsletter (2002
Best State Magazine in the US, among others).
United
States Chess Federation
The official sanctioning body for over
the board tournament play in the United States. In addition
to rating tournaments, the USCF supports and promotes chess
activities throught the United States. It also publishes two
national magazines, Chess
Life and School-mates
(for scholastic, new, and novice players).
